Last year we visited the Gunnesbury Park Pitch n Putt course, which was becoming very run down, and was in danger of closing. This year we have been unable to find out whether it is still operating or not. Can you help?

In the East London area, try: Fairlop Waters has a par 3 course. There’s pitch and putts in Central Park (Becontree Heath) and Waterworks (off Lea Bridge Road, nr. Clapton).

Beckenham Place Park is a good public 18 hole golf course. Otherwise Dukes Meadows is a good 9 hole pitch and put and is located in Chiswick.
